Thing 3 - Explore what it means to be a Lifelong Learner

The habit that I find to be the easiest for me is #2. Take responsibility for your own learning. I walked into Kindergarten when I was 4 and I have not left school since. I went along to the public library in Tecumseh and Siena Heights College and watched while my father worked toward his teaching degree. I sat on a bean bag in the children section, watched him and and read. I could not wait until I would be old enough to travel down the long rows of books that hovered over me. I have loved books and learning from the moment on.

The habit I find most difficult is using technology to my advantage. I feel like I cannot keep up with all that is out there for us to know. It can be paralyzing at times. I know there are so many applications I could be using to help enhance learning and by the time I get one down, something else has come along.
