Thing 15 Peas in a Pod

Have you thought about using them, but didn't know where to find valuable resources?

I have thought about using them. I had heard of some teachers using them to record their daily lectures and then posting them for students that were absent or needed maybe to hear it again.

I had not really thought of the student themselves making and using them. I was kind of focused on it as a teacher tool. After watching the 2 Great Educational podcasts, I really started thinking about how much more they could be utilized.

Do you think you might get pushback from administrators in your building if you used them in class? Why?

The problem I see in my building, is how locked down the filters are. I could not get to most of the podcasts in this assignment without leaving my actual school building. Even the one from our MDE was done using You Tube and was blocked.

I understand, after clicking on some of these casts that I was able to get to why they have to be careful. I just see it as a potential road block and something people may become frustrated with and give up on.
